Cindy Cohen Owner/President:

I have always had a passion for driving. As a young child, I can remember wanting to learn how to drive anything and everything. I was mostly intrigued by motorcycles, sports cars, and boats. You name it, and I have driven it. A few years ago, I was asked by a friend to teach her daughter to drive. My friend was too scared to teach her daughter. After training her daughter to drive, I realized, I wanted to teach people how to become safe and responsible drivers. I started my company with one car and have grown to a fleet of vehicles. Each day there are different challenges, but they are worth every minute of it.
I love when I see my students mastering the techniques of driving.

Lenny Plotkin

Lenny has lived in Pittsburgh for the vast majority of his life. He is a long-time owner of Nu Life Cleaners in Squirrel Hill, and he figured that since he had been a back seat driver all of his life, why not get paid for it. Lenny went through all of his prerequisites in order to obtain his instructor’s license, and now he is a proud member of our team.

His experience behind the counter and his years of coaching baseball and basketball make him a natural teacher and leader. Our students have found him to be helpful at relieving stress, precise in describing how to drive safely and properly, and thorough in preparing students for the driving test. Not to mention, almost every student will get at least one or two light moments in the car that will allow the lesson to proceed without the student being on edge.

When you work with Lenny to get your driver’s license, you’re sure to have a great experience!

Frederick Fenner

“Freddie,” as we call him, has been a professional driver in the Pittsburgh area for more than 12 years, including nearly a decade as a taxi driver and two years with FedEx, where he regularly trained new drivers. In his time as a cab driver, Freddie had more than 40,000 fares without an accident or a complaint. In that time, he encountered every possible kind of road condition and driving hazard, and learned from each one. Now, as a licensed instructor, Freddie’s goal is to pass that knowledge on to his students.

Many new drivers are nervous and hesitant, but this can be overcome by exercising awareness and anticipation. These are key principles to skilled driving, and Freddie makes this central to each lesson.

Freddie loves to teach his students the valuable skill of driving. In his time off, he drives for a ride-share and enjoys playing music.

Tim Keegan

Tim moved back to his hometown of Pittsburgh some years ago from Los Angeles, CA, where he was self-employed for more than 20 years in a commercial service business utilizing vans and trucks. He previously managed a high-value fine art handling business for four years in L.A., where he supervised the driving program, which required the drivers to maintain critical driving skills and accident avoidance to protect the artwork, which was often fragile. Tim really loves his job, and he loves teaching driving skills to his students and believes that relaxation combined with diligent awareness helps the student to achieve competent driving skills with great enjoyment. Tim employs much effort to help new drivers reduce their nervousness and anxiety quickly while devoting the lesson time to tried and true methods of instruction. Tim previously worked for Rogers Driving School.
